Painting process

Nowadays, aluminum alloy wheels are widely used in medium and high-end cars. Different process methods are adopted according to different requirements of products. At present, the main coating development trends of aluminum wheels in the world are coated wheels, bright surface wheels, polished wheels, electroplated wheels, etc. The main painting modes are as follows:

Low end products: pretreatment → metal paint coating → gloss paint coating

Intermediate products: pretreatment → primer coating → metal paint coating → gloss coating

High end products: pretreatment → bottom powder coating → metal paint coating → gloss paint coating → bright powder coating

① Pretreatment of mid-range products before coating → primer coating → coloring (silver and white) → topcoat coating (automatic electrostatic finishing coating)

② Pretreatment of high-end products before coating → primer coating → coloring (silver and white) → topcoat coating (automatic electrostatic finishing coating) → bright powder coating (powder finishing coating)


Mechanized conveying mode

Generally, two conveying modes are adopted. Namely: ordinary suspension conveyor and ordinary ring ground conveyor. When it is necessary to reprint in the middle, the manipulator is used in large quantities and the manual is used in small quantities.

2. Through type suspension conveyor

The internationally popular aluminum hub conveying mode is suitable for pretreatment and cleaning process. 2-3 workpieces can be hung according to different output, with good cleaning effect. The spreader is simple and applicable.
